
The Support Employment programme is a course for unemployed adults aged between 16 and 60. The course is run in partnership with Jobcentre Plus, Careers Scotland, Dundee Football Club, Dundee United Football Club and Claverhouse Training.
The main aim of the course is to assist unemployed people gain sustained employment of their choice, or move into further education or training.
The Support Employment programme is a 10 week course. The training is delivered at either Dens Park or Tannadice and consists of various types of motivational and confidence building training, communication, employability training, first aid, team building and football activities.
Many participants from previous courses, after years of unemployment, have successfully gained jobs with the help of the staff from all organisations. |
