This new voluntary programme is designed to improve the employment opportunities of lone parents living in Dundee. The hours are flexible, designed to fit in with school and nursery hours.

The aim of the programme is to provide individuals with the motivation and skills required to overcome their specific barriers and move into the training, further education or employment of their choice. As the programme is designed specifically for lone parents the needs and challenges faced by those bringing up children on their own are clearly addressed.

The programme includes childcare matters, confidence building and motivation, training and employment opportunities, lifestyle changes, access to support agencies and money matters.

Participants will also have the opportunity to work with our highly experienced team of Employment Advisers who are dedicated to finding the right job with family friendly employers.
