Claverhouse is an accredited centre to deliver the CSCS qualification (Construction Skills Certification Card) which is a safety card required for everyone working on building sites from February 2008).

The construction industry accounts for more than a quarter of all work related deaths and 4000 major injuries each year. For this reason organisations must have employees who understand the importance of health and safety.

The CSCS Health and Safety Test plays an important role in meeting these objectives. One of the most requested cards is the Operative, and once the card is obtained this would enable the candidate to have the required credentials to gain employment in the Construction Industry.

The CSCS card test is computer based and test dates should be available within 3 weeks of booking. There are 40 questions in the test and the time allowed is 45 minutes. Upon successful completion of the test, candidates are required to apply for the CSCS card.

All candidates are registered in advance and on the day of the test candidates must produce photographic and signature ID.

No test can be taken without photographic and signature evidence being available.
