Transnational Partnerships

Claverhouse Services is involved in a transnational project called Leonardo Technology for Culture.  The project is a partnership project between the following organisations:

  • ABC 2000   - Italy
  • ACPA Services   -  Italy
  • Claverhouse Services  - Scotland
  • CONCADA GmbaH   -  Germany
  • Consorzio MultiMedia - Italy
  • ENEA    - Italy
  • IDEC     -  Greece
  • S. I. C. I. Dominus  - Spain

The Technology for Culture project aims to produce a multimedia website that examines and highlights the areas and places of Cultural Heritage within the member countries, and the ways and methods of training a workforce to ensure that such valuable heritage sites are maintained for the benefit of generations to come.

An essential part of the project has to determine what people think about cultural heritage, how they view it, how it is promoted, what steps are currently taken to maintain it, and what they see for its long term future.  To determine this, all member organisations have been carrying out research - in the form of questionnaires - among local people.

Additional research has been carried out into what training and further education is available in the member countries in the area of culural heritage, along with reports on the statutory legislation governing such areas/sites.

The project is still running, and meantime the you can access the 'public' areas of the proposed website by clicking the logo below.
